Salesperson Courses - Salesperson LICENSE REQUIREMENTS: A candidate must be 18 years of age and complete a state-approved course to be eligible for a salesperson license. The course consists of 40 classroom hours of instruction which must be completed before taking the state exam. Real estate knowledge is not a course prerequisite. Text materials are included with your tuition.

This license allows one to work under a broker and take part in both residential and/or commercial real estate sales and rentals. Many offices are looking for new salespeople!

Broker Courses - BROKER LICENSE REQUIREMENTS: A Broker license candidate must be a licensed Salesperson and must have been actively associated with a real estate Broker for at least a year. The Candidate must complete 40-hours of classroom training and pass the State Exam. After taking the Broker's Class, in order to take Exam Student needs to get a $5000.00 bond with the Board of Registration of Real Estate Brokers and Salespersons prior to issuance of license. The cost of this bond is $50.00 for a five year bond. Candidate can choose an agency of their choice to get the $5000 bond.

The broker license identifies you as a Real Estate Professional with at least one year of experience and allows you to open and manage your own office and work for yourself.
